Background:

Chloe started playing drum set at the age of 7. She graduated from South Dade Senior High as the drum captain, as well as teaching her own percussion class to her own peers during her senior year. She is currently seeking a degree in education at F.I.U. and spends time touring with her band.

Started Music Career:

Chloe started to take professional drum lessons in Miami at the age of 7 until she was 15 years old. During the years, she learned how to read rhythm, play by ear and eventually started to create her own music. She was the percussion captain 3 times during her academic career. Chloe partnered up with her high school band director during her senior year and taught beginning percussion. This inspired her to pursue a career in education and she continues to teach drum lessons in Miami and perform throughout Florida.

Education:

Chloe is currently going to F.I.U. studying education.

Favorite Aspect of Teaching:

Chloe’s goal is for students to learn, have fun, and grow during every lesson. She wants to ensure that students are getting the most out of every session and instill lifelong practice techniques and strategies. Chloe makes sure that students have a smooth bridge between learning the instrument and actually applying it on their own.

Performance:

Chloe plays in a group called Above the Skyline. Chloe and her band have played all around Florida as well as recorded 3 albums. They have shared the stage with former rock legends such as Molly Hatchet, The Georgia Satellites, and Grammy award-winning Rick Derringer. They have played major festivals and venues such as Coral Head Fest 2017/2018 and the House of Blues.
