Born and raised in Miami Beach, FL, Nicole Spinelli is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and teacher. Nicole has been practicing music for over 15 years, beginning at the age of 4 with voice, and later gravitating to piano, clarinet, and saxophone. Under Timothy Sharp, Nicole’s local children’s choir traveled the world gaining experience through international choir meets. Additionally, at the age of 16, Nicole became drum major of her high school. Nicole’s love of teaching came after volunteering at her local daycare and working with the younger choir members as a guide. Following high school, Nicole was accepted to University of Central Florida, Florida International University, and Florida Southern College for Music Education. Although originally self-taught, Nicole was admitted to the classical vocal program at FIU, studying under Dr. Helen Tintes and Professor Eleanor Mendoza. Nicole has performed in the Arsht Center many times, the Sydney Opera House, and in Washington DC for Kennedy’s Centorium Concert as well as with the UCF University Singers with notable performances being Carmina Burana and Lord Nelson’s Mass.
