Yanjun Lin’s musical journey began at the age of six when she first developed an interest in the piano. Later, she discovered a deeper passion for singing, which brought even greater meaning to her life. This led her to pursue formal vocal training during her high school years. Yanjun has a deep appreciation for classical music and enjoys performing on stage. While her current focus has shifted to teaching and education, she continues to study acting and stagecraft, keeping performance a vibrant part of her life. Yanjun’s musical path started with the piano, drawn by its enchanting sound during her childhood. She also enjoyed singing pop music, but it was in high school that she discovered Broadway and Classical singing, which inspired her to begin formal vocal training. Since then, her love for music has grown into a successful career as both a performer and educator. Yanjun holds a Master’s degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. She is currently teaching at the New World School of the Arts and Lynn University. Yanjun has frequently performed at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music when she studied there and has been invited to participate in various events through colleagues and supporters in the music community. Yanjun is a compassionate and mindful teacher, always paying close attention to her students’ emotions. She values open communication with both students and parents, striving to create a positive and supportive learning environment where beautiful music can flourish.
