Originally from Perth, Australia, Dave began his career early. He was teaching and playing music professionally, while completing his undergraduate Music Degree. Shortly after completing his formal education, he decided to launch his career in Hollywood, California, a dream he had envisioned since his early teen years. Dave spent 29 years in Los Angeles before moving to Miami in 2023.

In Los Angeles, Dave built a successful career as an educator and a drummer/percussionist. He built a 16-track drum/percussion studio in North Hollywood near the popular No-Ho Arts District, an area home to many of Los Angeles’ recording studios. Dave is currently relocating his recording studio from Los Angeles to Miami.

Dave has recorded drums on the soundtrack of the hit movie American Pie 2. Worked with Emmy award winning composer, Mac Quayle on the TV series’ Mr Robot and Gaslit and on a 2023 Netflix original movie, Leave the World Behind, Starring Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali and Ethan Hawke.Dave has toured the world playing drums with Platinum selling artist, Michelle Branch. Appearing in her first two music videos that have amassed combined views on YouTube of over 45 million.Dave’s most famous drum student was a Hollywood legend, actress Betty White. On the set of her hit TV series, Hot in Cleveland.Dave also recently engineered and played drums on two songs for artist/producer Aaron Mclain that have reached over 750,000 views on YouTube in just a few months.
