Sirui Wang

Born in China and beginning her piano journey at the age of five, Sirui Wang is a profoundly accomplished pianist, embodying passion and commitment to excellence in piano performance. She attained her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at the University of Rochester Eastman School of Music, followed by a pursuit of further musical study through a Master of Music in Keyboard Performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. Demonstrating a pursuit of mastery, Sirui is set to continue on a Doctor of Musical Arts in Keyboard Performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music starting in fall 2024. Throughout her academic study, Sirui has consistently demonstrated her dedication to both performance and pedagogy, having studied under notable instructors such as Kevin Kenner and Marina Lomazov. Her performances spanned from solo recitals to festival appearances at renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, YAMAHA Salon, Kilbourn Hall, and Newman Recital Hall.

Additionally, Sirui’s professional journey includes diverse teaching and accompanist roles, along with extensive experience in private lesson instruction. Her love for teaching is evident in her ability to connect with students of all ages and backgrounds, developing their musical journeys while inspiring their fullest potential. Sirui has taught and helped students of different ages, including beginners, intermediate-level, and advanced students, to achieve their musical goals. Her teaching philosophy includes building a deep connection to music, guiding students to explore their unique musical identities, and find a passion for artistic expression.
