I first fell in love with music as a child through the music of the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, and the Who. I spent every penny I had to buy my first bass and was hooked. As I got further into music my listening habits expanded and I became interested in every style of music I could find. It wasn’t long before I was listening to and playing funk, R&B, hip-hop, latin music, jazz, and anything else that caught my ear. I played bass in my high school jazz band and went on to study jazz bass at FSU with the amazing Rodney Jordan, who is still a mentor to me today. Throughout my time playing music I have been in countless bands of many different styles, and have taken every opportunity to perform and play that comes my way. Music is my passion and to guide and be a part of somebody else’s musical journey has been incredibly rewarding and is something I am honored to be able to do.
