Tae Suh

Tae Suh is a native of Miami, Florida. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and Korean, and has great understanding of the Peruvian, Cuban, and Venezuelan cultures as a native of Miami. She has been creating spontaneous impromptus and compositions since 9th grade as a student at Coral Reef Senior High school. She’s been drawing and painting since the age of 2 years old and has been experimenting the relationship of sounds and colors. She is also a licensed 4th degree black belt through her father who is a recent retired 5 times Olympic Coach of the USA Tae Kwon Do and national champion of the martial arts several years ago. When Tae is not focused on her music, she takes special interests in everything in the world of STEAM which is Stem but with A as an abbreviation for the Arts. Tae earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida International University. Tae Suh has had her mother provide private piano lessons at the age of 7 years old, and then she attended an enjoyable summer school piano program at Hammocks Middle School. She felt and emphasized with her mother’s difficulties and life struggles, and so Tae Suh, had shared her love of music with her mother during those difficult times. Since then, she has been honing her piano playing skills. Tae likes to help her students form bonds and personal relationships with music. She believes that regardless of a person’s challenges, any student is capable of learning.
